Overwatch - McCree

Warning: BETA content

This file is marked as "BETA" which means that the contents might be unfinished, outdated or incompatible with the most recent version of Source Filmmaker.

Description

A less-than-stellar port of McCree from Overwatch, done as a request by ZalSFM ( ' - ')b

Model is far from perfect, probably needs a lot of work! But I saw at least one person wanting a McCree model, so I'm releasing this in its current state

Things you probably dont care about

  • He uses an altered version of Met's awesome script, just with 2 tiny changes to fix some errors
  • Faceposing via bones only, no flexes. It was my first ever time skinning a face from scratch, so pls dont hit me if it sucks enter image description here

  • His hat, holster, shawl, belt, and stun grenades are all bodygrouped. Hair is removable too, but with bones ( ' - ')b

  • His view target spawns a bit lower than it should, idk why, just deal with it (' - ' )

Credit and thanks

  • Blizzard for the model I guess ( ' - ')
  • Vargh and Rexx for ripping the McCree model from Overwatch
  • MetsSFM for allowing me to use his rig and giving me bonkers amounts of help with the skinning and porting process
  • Ganon for fixing his buggy orientation and eyes flipping out (which only happened because I'm dumb enter image description here)
  • ThatSFMNoob for helping me troubleshoot a few things
  • Everyone I ended up stealing materials and textures from because I'm a hack fraud

If you find bugs and stuff, please be aware that I probably wont bother to fix them, because I'm a lazy prick ( ' - ') but feel free to leave them in the comments anyway

if you want sauce files, PM me and I shall gib you the blend and QC files, just in case you wanna fix him properly or something

Someone provided me with a separate model for the Peacekeeper that I'm too lazy to put in the download, [use this if you cant figure it out on the model](https://mega.nz/#!tpE1gBoA!fPjxQHAqSCxsatDxuxjDXi2V4_Y5J1HNe63Nn1MC8Aw) I haven't checked that at all, so don't blame me if its shitty or malware from Nigeria ( ' - ')

Is it just me or for some reason his leg (from the knee down) doesn't move?

You can enable the Peacekeeper model by right-clicking the animation set and selecting 'Peacekeeper.smd' under 'Set Body Groups'.

Also if you want to animate the Peacekeeper after rigging the model, just click on the cog on the upper-right of the animation set editor and tick 'Show Hidden Controls'. You can animate other hidden objects too, like the hat.
