SFMLab will soon be migrated to a new codebase. In preparation for this, we have temporarily disabled some site functionality, namely the features listed below. This is necessary to ensure the move will not lead to accidental data-loss. You should still be able to download existing files available on the site.(although the EU server will suffer from reduced availability)
SFMLab will stay in read-only mode until the end of February, when the migrations are set to conclude.
Little batch script package for windows that can help you clean some GBs on your hard disk by converting old GIF animations into much smaller yet still great quality MP4 animations.
Just drag any directory with old GIF files onto the script to have it do all the conversion for you so you can then delete those space eating GIF files and enjoy MOAR free space.
The package includes a current build of ffmpeg.exe so you don't need to download anything else or go searching fo the right version of ffmpeg that does not have GIF reading bugs. But any up to date version of ffmpeg should do fine, so feel free you download it yourself if you don't want to use the included executable.
As a bonus there is also a conversion script to convert webm files back to mp4, which may be useful if you viewing habits depend on whatever tool you are using support proper handling of MP4 files with previewing and stuff but doesn't work with webm format.
