Kp0988's Cumball - Revised

Description

So this is a modification of Kp0988's original cumball.

If you've ever used it, then you know that it's a bit on the obtuse side to use. This revision set out to address its most prevalent usability problems, and make it overall more pleasant to work with.

This is a new model, and does not overwrite any of Kp0988's existing cumball models.

The changes made are as such:

  • Model size reduced. I always found myself scaling the original down significantly, to fit snugly inside a pussy mesh for a creampie. This revision defaults to that size.
  • Bones renamed to a more logical pattern. The Top/Upper/Middle/Lower/Bottom ranking and the 1/2/3/4 cardinality was obtuse, and so I changed it to Level1/Level2/Level3/Level4/Level5 ranking and North/East/South/West cardinality. It is now much easier to keep track of.
  • Rotated to spawn with Level1 being at the top, and Level5 being at the bottom. It spawns with North facing in the same direction as the camera, and East (naturally) then point to the right.
  • Added new "root" bones to each Level. All of the cardinal bones of each tier are rigged to the root, so you can grab the root to easily move the entire tier, and then use the cardinal bones to tune the shape.
  • Roots are in a flat hierarchy, meaning that you can move any bone without affecting any other bone, giving ultimate flexibility in deformation.

The textures and rigging are from the original release by kp0988. I only take credit for the changes I made.

The splatters on the old model were flexes. I personally find them utterly and completely useless for animation. They're fine for stills - but there are better meshes for stills, such as KaylaN's or Barbell's. And so I removed them. The posing is really straightforward. For 90% of use-cases, you should only be pulling the "root" bones. Orient the ball so that the Level1 bone is the closest in the direction you want it to shoot (and so the Level5 bone is the farthest away). Then you just pull the root bones out in a string. If you're doing different heights, for things like gravity emulation, make sure to rotate the root bones as well. If you rotate them the right way, then the string between the bones should get thicker - if it's getting thinner, you're rotating the wrong way.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I shall definitely try it that way. I think I was moving things in the wrong direction, so that may have been my issue.
