Description

My previous Marie Rose, updated to DazV4.

As with all other DazV4 models, she will not override the previous Marie Rose.

Notable changes & additions:

  • Blended neck seam
  • Fixed head/neck bone rotations
  • Improved jaw-drop flex
  • New Casual outfit
  • Casual outfit has support for pregnant Bodymorph (and only pregnant bodymorph - if you want any of the other bodymorphs, please read below)
  • Massively improved genital flexes w/ fixed distortions (DazV4 standard)
  • Separate legs model (marierose_dazv4_legs.mdl) for those who are annoyed by the leg seam (attach like any other outfit)
    Native Outfit Loader support
  • Includes legacy cop outfit (not supported - if it doesn't work right, then that's just the way things are)

About Outfit Bodymorphs

Right, so I'm just going to cut to the chase here. I hate adding Bodymorph support to outfits.

They require a fair amount of effort, taking about an hour or more on average, and the big-boob / small-boob flexes often require me to manually fit the breasts by hand for every single variant, and is effectively the same as fitting an entirely new outfit twice.

Belly-bulge morphs have similar problems, often require every single flex to be manually corrected.

And to top it all off, I don't even use any of these flexes. The only Bodymorph flex I use, and even then rarely, is the pregnant flex. Which is why, from here on out, I will not be supporting Bodymorph on outfits. The exception is the pregnant flex, and some models I build that have those Bodymorphs explicitly in mind, such as my Sarah Bryant / Samus Aran and the belly-bulge flexes, for her tentacle sexcapade in my eventual Hiveship film.

HOWEVER!

I know some people will be bummed by this, and that is why I am ALSO going to be releasing the model sources for my characters. That way, people can either add the flexes by themselves, or they can commission other people to add the flexes on their behalf.

IF anyone adds Bodymorph flexes to the outfits, be it themselves or via commission, then they need only message me about it and I will happily include them in the official release, with the proper credit attribution.

I absolutely want these models to be the best they can be for as many people as they can be, but I have a limit to my patience and my sanity. And Bodymorph outfits just breaks that limit these days.

Am I the only one who, instead of zero locking, exports the animation for base model, then imports it to all submodels and then locks them?

Why don't you crazy people just use the Outfit Loader?! Lol.

newbie here, where should I put the model source to?

LordAardvark

If you don't know where to put the model source, then you don't need the model source.

I have Daz and Victoria 4.2. Is there a way to import this character into Daz, rather than SFM?

No.

Any idea on how to fix the hair not turning it into https://imgur.com/a/qXgVz

Does she work in Daz or is that just the name you've given to the model? I'd LOVE to get Marie in my runtime and Forenders V4 clone is...just not the same.

V4 is just the name of the model base, none of this works in Daz.
