Description

This script will auto spawn 3d text.

enter image description here

enter image description here

To install

place script here: SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\scripts\sfm\animset

How to use

  1. apply the "text generator" rig to any model in the scene.

  2. select which workshop font you want.

  3. type in your text then click spawn text, thats it, the group of letters will be spawned in front of the main camera .

  4. to use the two slider controls; it's best to use them after defaulting all the letters first.

Note

you need at least 1 of the 4 workshops below in order for this script to work

Letters and Numbers (by Netherium)

Splatoon - 3D Letter Models

TF Letters

Spyro 1 GUI Letters

Also the Splatoon pack is the only one that has uppercase letters, but no digits.

in a future update I'll add a way to manually import different workshop models

feel free to modify the script for your own use
if you find any bugs or have suggestions message me in the comments below.

I WAS BANNED FOR BEING A SHITHEAD

Amazing how many people are like "omg this is amazing!" I bet none of them ever tried this shit out, because it's just fucking bugged and shit. If you don't want the default gigantic fontsize and the ridiculous spacing, you are fucked! I can't beliebe it's 2019 and it's still not possible to SIMPLY add text to sfm. The only choices you have are "shitty tiny font stuck infront of camera" and "equally shitty fonts, where the letters are bigger than the character models, and any change fucks the letters up"
