BT 7274

Warning: BETA content

This file is marked as "BETA" which means that the contents might be unfinished, outdated or incompatible with the most recent version of Source Filmmaker.

Protocol 3: Protect the pilot.

This model will spawn in broken, with his bones all out of position. I couldn't find a fix in blender, so I manually moved the bones into their proper place, and exported as an animation, which can be found inside the zip (literally has its own folder)

Import this animation whenever you want to use the model. An IK rig is included to make animating/posing this big boy easier.

The hatch splits open, the bones to open are Def_c_hatch_top and Def_c_hatch_bot. The "neck" bone is directly under the bottom hatch bone, make sure you lock it to that, so that BT's eye will follow.

To get BT's eyelids to squint, you will need to select any of his eyelid bones, and ROTATE them along the red rotator thingy.

Known Issues

This model does not feature ambient occlusion. I'm sorry, but it just didnt come with an ao map.

The parts which should be glowy and self illuminated are technically self illuminated, but they are very dark, including bt's eye. The only way to get his eye all glowy is to use a blue light (AS OF NOW, still wip)

We can always do with more Titanfall stuff for SFM!

Why would you release a port in this state? Doesn't even look to be using either of the specular masks at all.

Vertical posted 7 months, 1 week ago

Nobody else seemed to care enough to port it. So I used my beginner knowledge to bring this guy in. If you'd like to do better, I can send you a mediafire link with all the assets, including spc textures. If not, then that's the reason I ported it "in this state". Because nobody else was gonna.
