[Fortnite] Dual Pistol Gun Model


This is the original file for the Dual Pistols from Fortnite: Battle Royale! Yes it works because i have tested it! THE SIZE OF THE MODEL IS BIG SO MAKE SURE TO RESIZE IT USING THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

1.Right click on the model
2.Go down to "Utilities"
3.Click on "Add Scale Control To Models"
4.Now open the bones of the model of the gun model
5.Go down to "Body"
6.Click on "rootTransform_scale"
7.If you look a little to the right where the lighting controls would be you will see a tab that says "rootTransform_scale"
8.Drag the little line on that tab and resize the model to your correct preference!

NOTE #1: The model may still be big even though it is scaled to the down a bit so make sure to use these same steps to resize your character model too! Hope this helped!

NOTE #2: You WILL have to duplicate the model in SFM so that you can get the effect of the Dual Pistols like in the preview because the model was only exported with just one weapon and there was no way to actually get a "Dual" set of pistols into SFM.



As far as your instructions, it is not recommended to scale the roottransform of models, as scaling it doesn't affect the hit-boxes, which are used for detecting whether the model is in shot and should be rendered - as such, it can cause the models to disappear from some angles. You should scale a proper bone in the skeleton.

You know, it wouldn't hurt to add a bumpmap and phong, that'd actually make the model good looking. Resizing shouldn't be too hard if you use an already ported model as reference. Also just to point out that it is totally posible to have a dual set as a model. Just duplicate the mesh and either merge it or make it a bodygroup, simple as that. (i know it's a single mesh in the game's files)
