A script to allow editing Depth of Field and Motion Blur sample count over the course of an animation in real time.
Can be used to improve rendering performance for longer shots or films, as well as avoiding a waste of sample count.
Extract the zip into a mod folder of your choice, such as into game/usermod.
Changing the sample count during an animation is seamless. Just ensure that, for motion blur, there isn't much movement going on during the change. And when using high radius lights, be sure that your total sample count stays around the same.
