How to use
first create at least two key poses in the graph editor using step tangents
open up the script its under the mainmenu->Animation Tools->sfm tween machine
next move the playhead to were you want the breakdown pose to be. It must be between two bookmarked key frames in order to work.
select the controls you want to effect, preferably the ones you made the key poses with
finally move the slider on the script window to interpolate between the two keys. Slider values to the left will favor the new key toward the previous key, while values to the right will favor the next key.
1.then just repeat the steps until your satisfied with the breakdowns
the 'all select' control slider will only effect the controls you have checked enabled
show all selected-> will unhide the controls that you select allowing you to set individual control sliders.
overshoot->Toggles “overshoot mode” for all sliders. By default, the range of all sliders is 0 to 1. When “overshoot mode” is active, the range of all sliders changes to -.5 to 1.5. Using this mode allows you to create overshoot poses on the right end of the sliders in the 1-1.5 range, while using it in the 0 to -1.5 range on the left end effectively creates anticipation poses.
always on top-> makes the window stay on top of the sfm even when unfocused
dock window-> makes the script a dock window to use in sfm.
in order for this script to work it has to temp disable the sfm undo system to prevent a crash. so please experiment with this script in a new session to see if it works without issue and let me know of any problems.
because this script temp disable the sfm undo system any changes this script make cant be undo. instead you need to delete the key frame the script added manually.
this script wont create a perfect breakdown pose but it will get you closer to your goal a lot faster than other methods.
if at all this script cause an undo system crash please let me know the steps you took that caused this so i can fix it.
