just wondering, is there a reason you choose the doa mods of characters instead of the original characters? for example, this model, morrigan and regina

Well, he just ported it, I believe. I would assume people do this because it is easier to take a model they already have and just add accessories onto it as apposed to placing the head of a new model on a nude body and/or porting a model right from the game.

@kyo I do not make a big difference between the original characters and cosplay. For me, it is important that the model matches the desired image and looks congruently on scene.
