Dota 2 Maps

Description

Ahh, the Dotes. You're forgiven if you haven't heard of it - it's only the third biggest thing in gaming right now, right behind the hole that Random Game Console Of The Week has dug itself and the collective egos of Youtube "reviewers". Hah! Take that, people who make way more money than I'll ever see!

Thanks to Forer for helping me out on this one.

You'll need to mount the Dota 2 content in Source Filmmaker for this to work. It's free on Steam, so you needn't have any troubles there.

Current Contents: Default (both old and new), Autumn, Diretide, New Year, Winter, Tutorial 1, Tutorial 2

How do I mount content in SFM ? :o

I think you have to go into D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\maps\ and just copy all the .bsp files into the usermod maps folder.

Can anyone who has gotten all of this installed and working in SFM correctly just package up the necessary Dota 2 content and put it on Mega or something and link to it? All I can find are full-length tutorials on how to go about adding it yourself: downloading programs, extracting specific files, making your own mod files and path setting in order to make it all work. Its a hell of a lot of effort just to even see if these maps look good for SFM purposes, or even they'll even work at all, only to possibly find out they don't and never use them anyway. Its just not worth it, so if anyone who has already done that crap can please share the necessary resources already nicely packaged up, it would really be great.
