IK-Rig Merger v1.0

Warning: BETA content

This file is marked as "BETA" which means that the contents might be unfinished, outdated or incompatible with the most recent version of Source Filmmaker.

This script took about a day to finsh. I got the idea to make this script after looking over Revzin's ik rig script

if your tired of having too many ik rig scripts filling up then this script is for you.

*This script is still in testing please let me know of any problems or bugs.**

Please read the FAQ first before you download especially #2

1) what does this script do?

This script can combine all of your ik rigs for diferent models and make one rig script that should work with any of those models

2) Any requirments?

Yes. all the rig scripts you want to combine must be made from my other script "Auto-Rigger v1.5" or latest

3) How do i access it?

its located in the drop down menu in scripts on the menubar.

4) How do use it?

first select two or more rig scripts that was made from my other script "Auto-Rigger v1.5" or latest.
Then pick a name for your new rig script. finally click create script to finsh. a messeage will pop up and tell you if it was sucess.

5) what does include valve bipeds do?

Along with your own ik rigs your new script will also work with ValveBiped-compliant models

6) How do i delete a selected file in the list?

7) IF I modified the auto-rig ik script to allow extra bones, IE tail bones extra limbs will this carry over?

unfortunately no, but it could if you edit the script the right way.

To install:

place the file in SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\scripts\sfm\mainmenu

feel free to modify the script for your own use
if you find any bugs or have suggestions message me in the comments below. Also include a link to the models that have a problem.

If it could be generalized away from requiring scripts being made with the autorigger, this could be an **extremely** useful tool. Even with that restriction, though, I think a lot of people will find a lot of use for this. I hope you don't mind if I look into building a more generalized way to minimizing the IK scripts menu. I have a few ideas knocking around now, all thanks to your releasing this.

@LordAardvark,go right ahead. i only made it a requirement because the format of my script is always the same, so there would be no problems. its difficult to know if the user added extra limbs to the rig or any changes for that matter. Anyway just let me know if you need any help with the code.
