Scenebuild - Outdoor Terrain


Pretty simple model, to be used in scenebuilding outdoor environments.

Has a handful of flexes to apply some noise to the terrain, for subtle features. Combine multiple flexes to make the effect more pronounced.

Has a grid of bones throughout it that allow for manually deforming the terrain as extremely as you want, making either hills or valleys.

Comes with 12 skins, just lazily pulled from the nature/ folder of Episode 2, for different grasses and dirts. Has support for 32 skins, all conveniently named "01" to "32".

The flexes do not effect the outer edges, so you can put multiple pieces together and apply different flexes to give a larger, varied landscape, without having to worry about microtears. The bones, however, do affect the edges, though not to huge extents.

I will probably make new skins and release them for this eventually. No idea when that'll be.

For the love of god stop making gay ass curvy ass models and keep making these, only do props and scenebuilds and stop making other shit. Stick to what you're good at, man. :mike81:

**@SFM-Fiasco:** Thanks for saying I'm good with the props and scenebuild stuff! Honestly, they've never been much a focus for me. I generally only do them as I need them, and deformable terrain is something I have needed for a **long** time. I just never got around to making it for... honestly, I don't know why I never got around to making it. Though on the topic of scenebuild stuff and the terrain, another thing I intend to look into building is a water prop. If I can pull it off, then it will have similar flexes and bones as this prop, but also with an additional set of bones to control the depth of the prop. I am hoping I can pull it off, because water is another thing I've really wanted - and you could combine them with this terrain to sculpt your own rivers and such, which would be neat I think. **@CommanderJackshit:** Everyone has their own interests. We don't need to be calling each out on them. I know in the past I've been pretty rough in regards to people commenting on my models, but I've recently gotten over that. Disliking my Curvy models is entirely within SFM-Fiasco's prerogative, and I won't hold any ill will for it. Not everyone likes everything, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Similarly, there is nothing wrong with people liking Ganon's Curvy variants - I have personal friends who absolutely love them and wish that more models had variants like them. And that is totally cool. **That being said,** there are 24 skin slots still available for this ground. If anyone has any particular ground textures they'd like to see, please feel free to suggest them. Links, texture paths, or even just locations (such as mod or game names) would be greatly appreciated, but even more general things like "beach sand" or "snowy grass" or something would help me out.
