I just ran into the same problem. The way you can rename models is decompiling the model using the program Crowbar. (Google it if you don't have it.)
Under Decompiler, select "marierose.mdl" file. Select an output folder and decompile. Now go in that folder and open "marierose.qc" with notepad. On the command $modelname, change the name to something like MarieRoseCop.mdl. Now go back to Crowbar, and in the compiler and select the .qc file you edited. When you compile, it should make a second model with the new name.
I think they added the choice to render ambient occlusion separately specifically because of this problem. Its pretty much a something that needs to be customized for what you are looking to do. For example, if you want the transparent cloth parts to have AO, then disable their transparency before rendering the "AO only" video. You will get a black-and-white video, and in video editing set its blending to "multiply" so the black parts darken the layers beneath it. You just have to get creative with what you want.
A heads up on making $translucent work:
If you compile the model with $mostlyopaque (in the QC file), this fixes the transparency issue by rendering opaque parts in the first pass, and transparent parts in a second pass. I don't know how well it works on multiple, layered transparent parts, though.
And for reference, ambient occlusion can work with transparency, if you render one video without AO, and one with only AO shown, and combine them in post-processing.
Try using the auto-rigger.
Not sure there are any pre-made rigs.
Never thought I'd see a model for Shanoa. Its amazing.
Is there any chance you could upload the source files as well? I was going to try tweaking her in Blender, but she isn't loading properly. The body and several bones vanished.
It works great in SFM, though.
For the nude model, just copy all of the files in materials/models/soulslayerzx/succubus, and place them in materials/soulslayerzx/succubus (folder created in my previous post.)
Thought I would jump in and say the files seem to be there, but are still a little jumbled.
The "eyeball_l" and "eyeball_r" material files need to be moved to the materials/models/monster/succubus folder. They are currently in the materials/models/soulslayerzx/succubus folder.
I also had to create a new folder in materials -> soulslayerzx/succubus and place "eye_d" and "pupil_ambient" to get the eyes working. I'll have to mess around and see if I can get the nude model working.
It looks like the map is missing the trees around the perimeter:
