SFMLab is currently in READ-ONLY mode

SFMLab will soon be migrated to a new codebase. In preparation for this, we have temporarily disabled some site functionality, namely the features listed below. This is necessary to ensure the move will not lead to accidental data-loss. You should still be able to download existing files available on the site.(although the EU server will suffer from reduced availability)

SFMLab will stay in read-only mode until the end of February, when the migrations are set to conclude.

WoW - Blood elf props and buildings.

Just some quickly ported items from the blood elf's starting areas.

There is alot more to be done on these models but I though I'd post them in this state anyhow because someone might want them anyway. Some items are not in their "normal" scale so you'll have to scale them yourself after you own needs.

If you find any errors or so feel free to send me a pm. \o

UPDATE: Some items now have different skins you can select from aswell!

jesus FUCKing christ do what i can't do holy shit all models i ported had transparent textures do god's work right fucking now

Maybe up-scaling the textures a bit and add some Normalmaps ? It looks a bit better. Exporting Objects (WMO's in fact) are sometimes a pain in the ass.... I remember exporting the Pavilion from the Stormwind Graveyard... The cleaning up was a pain

@zepharian, adding nmaps and scaling up all the textures would prob take longer then porting all the models would. This is just something I did in one evening when i was tired of messing around in sfm ^^, when I get bored again I'll prob update these or port another set of items.

@Ambrosine : Nah, there are tools for upscaling and even for creating NMaps :) Its done in like 5 Minutes. But dont bother, its useful anyway, for people who can't port stuff like this

zepharian posted 3 years, 8 months ago

@zepharian Really? Would you mind telling me the name of this tool? Upscaling and making nmaps for 52 images in 5 min would be awesome.

I've been trying to port these myself for a while but havnt been able to, thanks so much for this.

Good to see this updated. I'd use them if there were male Blood Elf models around.
