SFMLab is currently in READ-ONLY mode

SFMLab will soon be migrated to a new codebase. In preparation for this, we have temporarily disabled some site functionality, namely the features listed below. This is necessary to ensure the move will not lead to accidental data-loss. You should still be able to download existing files available on the site.(although the EU server will suffer from reduced availability)

SFMLab will stay in read-only mode until the end of February, when the migrations are set to conclude.

Amazing map! I have one question though: I'm able to put the .bsp's in the correct folder, but where do I put the .vmt's? Because I only have the purple and black tiles.

Penguinchao

Load the map then look in console. It should say what textures and their directories are missing.

It only shows you what models are missing inside the substructure of the map. e.g. "Failed to load models/Env/Misc/elevator/elev_indicator.mdl"

Looks like materials and models are missing, that sucks, these maps are nice, would be fun to use.

Ganonmaster

You can get the materials and models by buying [The Ship](http://store.steampowered.com/app/2400/) on Steam and installing its assets into SFM.

Alright, I pass this one.

So there's only a few? Aww...

kat1004 posted 4 years, 5 months ago

Alright, so I have the maps downloaded and installed, and I also have The Ship content downloaded and mounted into sfm al la tutorials, yet all I'm getting are purple/black surfaces and error signs with the odd random piece being fine...? Have I missed something obvious...?
