Piratecatty Animal Rig Pack

Description

This is just a pack of four Rig-Scripts I plonked together for Piratecatty's Animals. You can get the models here: >>>Linky<<<

Unpack to \usermod\scripts\sfm\animset\. Most animals are covered:

Rig_Piratecat_Animals.py

  • all wildcats including sabertooth + the rhino

Rig_Piratecat_CrocOnly.py Rig_Piratecat_MLionOnly.py Rig_Piratecat_MonkeyOnly.py

Unrigged: Tortoise, Elephant, Goat & Snakes. But they all have animations so it should not be a huge problem.

yup the male lion and i used the mliononly rig :3 thing is , when i make the lion stand in a normal position *not the one he spaw* we can see some bug , not sur its about the rig , maybe just the model itself

I moved all the feet to a symmetrical position. Move (not rotate!) the elbow and knee bones when the legs turn the wrong way. Rotate the feet to correct the leg's direction. It's the same as for humans, fiddling is always required. Handling gets easier if you rotate the legs into a "neutral" position first and then apply the IK rig. Why do they spawn in a crouched position at all? I dunno, doesn't make much sense. PS: you can import the sequence "idle" and then just delete all the animation data from the timeline after the start of your scene. Get a bit more normal starting stance that way.
