Description

Well, first of all i want to say that this is my first upload, and my first succesfull porting from xnalara to sfm. The model is in a very precarious state, so i'll be uploading updates of the model as i go learning how to add flexes, jigglebones and how to organize the bones in clasess, like the other sfm models, thta are all the leg bones in a chapter, all the arm ones in another etc ^^   As you may gues the textures don't look as awesome as they do in the game, but this was the best i could do and i wanted to share it ^^ if anyone wants to help, or makes an IK rig or something, it will be much apreciated ^^   P.D. i felt so lazy to pose her so i used the same picture that the guys that posted the model for Xnalara used. ORIGINAL XNALARA MODEL: http://armachamcorp.deviantart.com/art/Killer-Is-Dead-Vivienne-Squall-390472165     P.D.2... if anyone can do the IK RIG, that would be great ^^   P.D.3... NO UPDATE REALLY. just posted this link with all the original files i used and created so if anyone feels like improving her that would be great. i'm not gonna be  able to do it right now as i'm kinda busy with exams and other projects right now. :S There you go :3  https://mega.co.nz/#!KBMWTTjY!YOj2EbJ02fOSasAhiXSyhjuBU8xyd1VvhN6EAYEK3lo Enjoy ^^

great! ^^ if you want i can send you the smd files, the textures and the qc so you can finish it :3 i could do the same i've done with this model to the rest of the models from the game, and as the bones, rigs and everything is the same in them, i guess that the flexes part would be nearly copy paste :P so if we do that we could finish a nice amount of models (4 in total) :3

I'm sure that groups for bones are located in sfm_defaultanimgroups txt file and there's no other way but to rename bones in your modelling program so that they are named like default valeve biped bones or to write names of bones in that file under appropriate groups.

@zhulikkulik I've been able to literally do a batch find and replace and replace the name of bones with their valvebiped equivalent on multiple models with no problem, just using notepad++. The thing is to edit the .smd.

You don't see models in art style ported to sfm often, much appreciated would love to see the others make the transition.

Hey bulldoozer. You should take screenshots of your model, rather than stealing one. Besides that, I might be interested in helping out with a few things, namely rigging and jiggles.

Hiyaaa Greygeist ^^ this is as far as i can do for now... i have to learn from the start how to create those slider things that appear in sfm like for blinking, smiling and that stuff... amd jigglebones for hair at least ^^ if you can do that, i can keep porting the rest of the models from the game like this one, and we will be able to finish the models pretty good ^^

@bulldoozer Ideallly, the XNA port will have facial bones. If you're using blender, just pose the face as you want it and apply the armature as a shape key after you've finished making the end of the slider range. Then, select the base shape key, apply the armature modifier again, reset bone positions, and repeat. Jigglebones are very easy. Use this wiki page: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/$jigglebone Specifically the flexible type.
