Even a single dollar helps

The first VTOL military aircraft of the Heisei Godzilla era.

The Super X (スーパーX Sūpā Ekkusu?) is an aerial vehicle used by the J.S.D.F. that first appeared in kaiju film "The Return of Godzilla".

The Super X was originally built as an anti-Nuclear aircraft that was intended to defend Japan from an American or Russian attack. However, it was first used against Godzilla when he attacked Tokyo in conjunction with the prototype maser cannons.

The flying machine was able to temporarily stop Godzilla's nuclear reactor heart by shooting Cadmium Rounds into his mouth, which caused the monster to collapse, and was believed to be dead.

However, nuclear fallout from a double nuke explosion from space revived the monster, who chased the machine across Tokyo in a fury, before toppling a skyscraper atop it and destroying it and it's crew.

The Super X however, would have it's legacy handed down as more and more models based around it were created during the Heisei Godzilla films.

The model itself took some time to acquire, but I managed to get it extracted from it's PAC files thanks to RTB's assistance.

The model has a notable "core" bone but that's just there to assist with the gmod physics mesh, if you're using SFM or the Advanced Bone Tool in GMOD, use the root bone.

The model has a few bones for it's cannon, and side guns which I added, as well as the panels for it's front spotlight.

Also included is a wav sound file that includes it's sound effects taken straight from the movie. The source provided was a reddit user on the Godzilla reddit subpage.

SFMLab is a free service. However, it costs about $0.03 to deliver you a 1GB file. With over 20TB of traffic every month and growing, SFMLab needs your help. If only 1% of our users each gave us $5 for a single month, we could keep the site running for several years.
