Description

BEFORE YOU READ:

  • You can use $color overrides to do this with much more flexibility. I'm fairly new to SFM and was not aware of this at the time that I uploaded. I guess you could just use these files if you're too lazy to manually do $color overrides or if you wanted the .vtf's for some reason.

I'm a big fan of DevilsCry's 2B port, but I felt that her skin was a bit too pale -- I couldn't fully enjoy the famous contrast between 2B's flesh and leotard.

I've also noticed that there's not much selection for dark-skinned girls on SFMlab.

So, I decided to create some new 'flavors' for 2B, ranging from vanilla to mocha.

For use with:

Contains:

  • 11 new skin textures for 2B

If you're new to SFM, check out theses tutorials [1 2] to learn about changing textures/material overrides.

All new materials are located in the "jcmod" directory, which is in the same directory as the original materials.

So if the original path was:

models\DevilsCry\nier_automata\2b_v2\"materialname"

$basetexture should be:

models\DevilsCry\nier_automata\2b_v2\jcmod\"newmaterialname"

I don't agree. The issue seems to be whether this warrants being posted at all because it *too* simple, but it's posted in the right category, and the author did put some work into it for the convenience of others, furthermore the author doesn't pretend like it's something else than what it is. To the benefit others looking to do what he did he also offered links to tutorials as well as providing an example with his own file... I imagine some might find it helpful so what's the harm in this particular case?
