A new year brings a new iteration of my tentacles. This is iteration 3, and by far, the best tentacle model I've put together to date.

Let's just get right to features, shall we? :mimicondescending:

6 materials (normal maps):

  • Fleshy (extreme bumps)
  • Veiny (minor bumps)
  • Smooth (no bumps)
  • Robotic
  • Hexagon
  • Super special secret material

4 skins:

  • White / recolorable
  • Hentai Purple
  • Fleshy Pink
  • Alien Green

6 tips (as flexes):

  • Connector (snap a second tentacle to the end of the first to double the length)
  • Round tip
  • Sharp tip
  • Suction cup
  • Tongue
  • Whip / grabber

4 Shape Morphs:

  • Taper from root (really fat at the base, normal size at tip)
  • Taper from tip (normal size at the tip, really skinny at the base)(1)
  • Ribbed in
  • Ribbed out

2 Models:

  • Tentacle2016.mdl has the root of the tentacle at the tip. Simply slide the root in and out for penetration, and rotate the tail of the tentacle so it looks like it's rooted.(2)
  • Tentacle2016_reversed.mdl has the root of the tentacle at the base. Position the base somewhere, and rotate the tentacle bones to animate the tip.

Features that don't deserve sublists :mimicondescending:

  • 64 bones, rigged in a quasi-Bezier curve (fancy talk for they bend really smoothly; you have to go to REALLY extreme angles to get jagged corners)
  • 65 bulge flexes, for animating high-quality cum-pumping
  • Fully animatable phallus flex(3), for all your nasty tentacle cumshot needs
  • Flexes for making the tentacle bigger or smaller (4)
  • Flexes for flattening the tentacle in either dimension
  • Flexes for flattening the tip in either dimension
  • 14k polygons of tentacle-y goodness (plus some change for the phallus ending)

This download also comes with the Liara quadruple-penetration animation that I teased (click here to see it) as a sample session, so you can see an example of how I animate the tentacles. Feel free to use it as you please.


  • Urgarulga - Donger mesh and textures used for the phallus
  • LordAardvark - Everything else

(1) This flex is kinda useless. I considered removing it, but decided to keep it. It's not hurting anything.

(2) I find this is far easier to animate penetration with. I highly recommend you try it.

(3) Animating the phallus opening requires a bit of tinkering with the open, close, in, and shrink flexes. It's not perfect, but the Source engine only allows flexes to move vertices in straight lines, so it's the best I could do without pulling some really crazy shit. :mimiunimpressed:

(4) This does not affect length! However, it does affect the fidelity of other flexes. It is highly recommended you apply a scale to rootTransform and get as much of the size as you can that way, so the other flexes still behave correctly. These flexes are only meant for tuning, really.
