Description

It was done. After just 2 months of development, I present to you my next project. This time I transferred two versions of the player's apartment from GTA Online.

The map consists of 2 apartments. One is a top class apartment. The second is the middle class.

On the map it is possible to turn off the lights in different rooms.

If you have performance problems, I advise you to turn off the mirror. To do this, enter the following command in the console: ent_fire mirror_hi_apa (or mirror_low_apa) disable To enable ent_fire mirror_hi_apa (or mirror_low_apa) enable

On the map there are switches on the walls. For use, bind E button on the USE function. To do this, enter the command bind "e" "+use"

Comments

When exporting a poster using the mirror in the bathroom I get no reflection for the model I'm using. Is this normal (never used mirrors in SFM before)?

i found a problem with one of the plants. in the TV room of the high class apartment, the plant next to the window has a transparency issue at a lot of angles. http://imgur.com/a/B7vaU

Phenomenal job on this map! Really great stuff! There is only one issue and that is with the table in the middle class apartment. ![enter image description here](http://i.imgur.com/FXoxCDR.png "enter image title here") At first I thought it was my download but I see that the same issue on your preview pics. Not that it matters tho, I think I've got more table models than models with tits.

After a bit more testing looks like the reflection of the models appears, the problem is that the reflection itself is messed up (wrong angle for one). I tried with a different camera, angle and custom lights and I get the same results [What I get](http://imgur.com/RTU17e3) I guess it might be something broken on my side though if it works for you

Lots of objects are levitating a bit over the surface. Mostly visible on the desk in planning room. Any solutions?

I'm surprised that until now no one noticed this, even me. Unfortunately, there will not be any updates yet. I'm busy building a lower class apartment. When they are ready, I will update the map for Gmod and SFM.

I've tried using mirrors in 4 different maps. I've never had them work correctly. Here's the sort of things that I observe: No Ambient Occlusion. The mirror image is correctly placed in the viewport and when exporting to an image sequence, but it is shifted for a poster. Scene with Ambient Occlusion. The mirror image is correctly placed in the viewport and when exporting to an image sequence, but is shifted for a poster. For the correctly placed mirror image, ao appears to be a shifted version of the non-reflected ao in front of the mirror, and is unrelated to the mirror image. For the shifted poster mirror image, the ao is correctly placed but it doesn't look like actual ao. Ambient Occlusion only. The mirror image ao is correctly placed in the viewport and when exporting to an image sequence, but it is shifted for a poster. The mirror image also has problems with edge artefacts when in the correct position. If you look closely at mark2580's image above, you can see the displaced non-inverted ao in the mirror.

Great map. Some issues though in low apartments. Kitchunit01 and kitchunit02 are transparent. Near those units there is paper roll with no texture. Other than that keep up the good uploads.

I love it but it appears not all of the texture files were included, because I have models from it that have the dreaded missing textures purple and black chequered squares. EXAMPLE of GTAV Model with missing textures: mp_apa_06\planningrm\planningrm_av_electronic

Just residual garbage when developing. It's impossible to track everything. There should be similar models with working textures.

Pity there are no textures for it because it looked like a very nice prop. I'd love to use this map but there is something wrong with it. by no means do I have any idea what it could be but hopefully there is a fix for it. cool, but how the fuck do I get the whole thing to load into SFM?? I dont want to have to load every single last individual piece in one at a time. Is that the only way to do it?? There are a TON of pieces here for this model!

I can't find the room model itself. Only the models for scenebuild. Does the actual room come separate?

Unless this is just supposed to be a pack of scenebuild models, This is useless for SFM. There is no actual apartment model for it, and you can't zero the models into place and line them up properly.

When trying to render a poster, all furniture vanishes in the render and in general, needs a map reload.
