Hi i'm new to source film making and i had a question how do i add this sheeva file into the map directory so that i can load and edit it?

In reply to cahi1, Okay, first, this isn't a map. It's a model. And now to answer your question. Step 1. Download the file. Step 2. Open it in 7-Zip/WinZip/jZip/whatever zip file manager you use. Step 3. If there are 2 folders (materials and models), then you can skip this step. Open the one folder that shows up. It might be called "Sheeva-MK9" or something like that. Step 4. Select the materials and models folders. Step 5. Extract them to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod. Step 6. If Windows asks you to merge or replace the existing folders, MERGE THEM! If it doesn't, then it most likely does it automatically. Step 7. Open Source Filmmaker, load a map, and add a new model. Step 8. On the "filters" text box, type "sheeva" and the model should come up. If it does, then you are done.

ok, when i download it, it says its a (.rar) file, could that be whats wrong? if so how do i change it?

nevermind i tried one as i .zip file but it still wont show up, all the lines are there as if the model is there but theres still no model?

this is what its telling me "MDLCache: Failed load of .VVD data for (name of model) binding uncached material "utilwireframe" artificially incrementing refcount"

hi, im also new and i did all that you said in the comment above but for some reason the map mods i download show up but when i go to add the model nothing shows up on the map like its not there, is there any other programs i need to download for it to work or anything else i have to do?
