Description

The second female HL2 citizen, without any clothes on.

Features:

  • Twelve skins, including four facemaps and three different eye colors.
  • Bodygrouped, colorable bikini.
  • Face, eye, and fingerposing.
  • Rigged breasts & ponytail

Nobody had made any good nude versions of the HL2 citizens in the decade since HL2 was released, so I gave it a shot. The faceposing is only slightly better than the default HL2 citizen faceposing, but it's better than nothing. I primarily made this for Garry's Mod but I see no reason not to also support SFM, so with some help from BlooCobalt, it now works just fine in both.

This is by no means final, I still plan on adding a bunch more features (primarily more bodygrouped clothing) and I will definately fix some of the few bugs that are present. If anyone has any suggestions for more features, please let me know.

The two main bugs I know about are some UVmap and rigging issues on the hands. If anyone encounters any other bugs, please let me know and I'll do my best to remedy them in future updates.

  • BlooCobalt For the Enhanced HL2 citizens, for helping me make this work in SFM, and for various other things he helped improve on this model.
  • Tea Doing the rigging, headhacking, fitting the bikini to the body, etc.

I've been working on this model for a while and I forget where certain parts came from or who the original authors are. I know the body likely originated from an Oblivion or Skyrim mod and the bikini may be from DOA, so thank you to whoever the original authors of those parts are.

I don't want to be that guy who asks noob SFM questions in the comments, but how do get the model to look wet, like the model on the right in the image? I've looked all over the place, and I can't find anything on the subject.

I apologize as the image might be a little misleading. I was considering add wet/oiled skins at some point (hence why it's in the picture), but I decided against it. I may add this back in a future release, but for the time being, the method **CarlosSFM** suggested should work.

**@scoutaloo** A large amount of models include those the oiled/wet skins but if they don't you could always do this 1. Add a material override then 2. Open the model in the Element Viewer 3. Find the skin textures you want shiny/wet 4. Add a float attribute with the name "$phongboost" 5. Tweak the value to the desired amount You have to be careful in the Element Viewer tweaking the wrong things can quickly screw up your entire project. It may not be the **BEST** way of doing it but I like the result.

Any chance of an IK rig? Also I followed CarlosSFM's guide to using phongboost but I'm not getting any results.

@Barnes, Sadly I have no idea how to make an IK rig. IF there's any guides out there I'll give it a shot, but I wouldn't even know where to start.

It should be noted that there's a goal at the [SFMLab Patreon](patreon.com/sfmlab) that might be of interest to those who don't want to go through the trouble of collecting and using the right IK rig for each model. :putin:

Any chance you could fix the bones so the model could be used as an NPC (using the citizen shared animations) or playermodel? I tried editing it to do so, but it became a mess of spaghetti. It seems that the rotation of the bones do not match whatever the valvebiped skeleton uses. If the bones were rotated, it might allow animations to work properly.

@Apollo11 Yup, they are @Crazybubba64 I'm fairly certain it's an entirely different rig, and as such, would need to be reanimated. @VanillaBlitz if you're in Garry's Mod, color tool will work. Anyways, Tea, how hard would it be to headhack us a Female 01 version?

The models were made primarily for and tested in Garry's Mod, so they'll work just fine. I pretty much don't use SFM at all, but I knew these would be compatible so I uploaded them here. And to answer a question that gets asked a lot, no, I'm not rigging them to the valvebiped skeleton so they can be used as npcs/playermodels. It wouldn't really be that hard to make a Female01 version (or any other HL2 citizen, for that matter), but I have no interest in doing that.
