Description

To counter the dungeon map i uploaded recently here is a more modern prison setting.

it has 2 version, lit and unlit, the preview pics have the tonemap scaled up quite a bit so its darker in game.

info for nerds: You can create animsets for the doors, here's how:

  • Jump in game
  • record for some amount of time
  • create new animset for existing and the doors should appear in the list.

It works in Gmod.

If the doors are missing when you start the map, jump ingame and noclip to somewhere in the map.

hi, thanks for this, but i have un problem with the métal reflect light, it's multicolored and saturate. I have this on many other map and i not understand why. I don't use these map for that. Where i can to disable this effect? (sorry for my bad english)

Really cool map! Got a weird bug with the lighting on the reflective models though ![enter image description here](https://i.gyazo.com/0fd2bea4b3a214759f8e79efbf14ca55.png "enter image title here") I've never seen anything like this before so I'm if it's a problem on my end.

I had the same problem.. BUT some good has come out of this. I've had a lot of other maps I really liked but this same color problem occurred in. Maybe that mat_specular 0 command will work for them.

The console command did fix it. However the download is still having the colorful reflections.

awesome map! i had these rainbow reflaction issues when i first loaded it, but all i did was Mat_specular 0 and they dissapeared. also a Mat_reloadallmaterials helped too.

O.K. could someone whos having problems with the reflection do me a favor? Make an animset for envballs.mdl and take a picture of it for me. That model is used to test cubemaps and should look similar to this ![Cubemap](http://i.imgur.com/2i8ptVV.jpg "Cubemap")

Hi, well the issue still, when you start to animate with models, so its impossible to put that code again, cuz only run one per time and no more, so exist some another solution?

for me, i have resolve the problem with the message of lordaardvark "mat_specular 0 in the console" for now. i don't know what you tell about (i'm not english). But for this time it's ok for me. thks

Everything is good now, following the advice of LesbianLover and beelzebub. MaestroShiranui left me with the impression that the changes in the console don't stick, but it's all good now. Time to have fun in the prison!

I have this weird christmas tree colours issue on cell door bars and some missing textures. What texture resources are needed here?

O.K. this is my last attempt at fixing the reflections, if it doesn't work with this version then I don't know whats wrong.

Damn shame then, it is a really good map, but the reflections are still there. All that can be used are the beds and the wall next to them.

If the fix still doesn't work for you type two commands in the console (while the map is opened): mat_specular 0 buildcubemaps Then restart SFM. Commands take a lot of time to process btw.

Rendered a quick scene in an image sequence in the hopes of the reflections being a viewport problem. Can confirm we're stuck with them.

Great map but its as buggy as it is good. But slap a mat_specular 0 command into the console and F11 briefly and the problems are fixed (but you have to do this every time you load it). Still, very minor inconveniences. P.S. I found the doors and stuff appeared, whether I record or not. The Draw Game Entities menu made no difference (which is weird).
