---------------If the models look like they're wearing tinfoil stay calm…. and follow these steps-------------

1.Breathe in

2.Breathe out

3.Open sfm

4.Load a map

5.Open the console (in SFM)

6.Type: buildcubemap

8.It will crash SFM

9.Take a deep breath

10.Scream into the pillow

11.Open sfm

12.See that model hasn't changed

13.Right-click primary viewport

14.Turn enable lighting off

15.Turn enable Lighting on

16.And your problems should be all gone.

The next time you open that model on that map they should be okay but, if you open those models on another map you will have to retype: build cubemap and Restart SFM. It will create a separate file right above Your game folder in SFM. It will be called content > Usermod > materialsrc > map > all the maps with the cubemap fix That's been applied.

I do not know why they look like they're wearing tinfoil. I did not ask questions why I just asked for a solution To fix it.

SFMLab is a free service. However, it costs about $0.03 to deliver you a 1GB file. With over 20TB of traffic every month and growing, SFMLab needs your help. If only 1% of our users each gave us $5 for a single month, we could keep the site running for several years.

Ripping ENCRYPTED Unreal Engine Models
Some UE4 games use encryption. This video explains why developers would want to encrypt, and how this works in the context of UE Viewer.
