[SFM2] Shepard's Cabin (Mass Effect)


A SFM2 port of Commander Shepard's Quarters on the Normandy SR-2. This is a port of the SFM1 version. There are +100 materials that have to be ported and adjusted for SFM2's shaders so things aren't perfect yet, but everything is functional.

Installation instructions:

Extract the content of the archive into your Half-Life Alyx\game\hlvr_addons\ currentaddon folder

Setup Instruction

This is a model not a map! I would recommend loading the standard "void" map that comes with Half Life Alyx's SFM2 version. Place the quarters model. Then place a "directional light", enable shadows on it. That will override the map lighting. You can adjust the direction light to have light shine in from the windows. Then place lights as desired throughout the model. Try to avoid "projected lights" as they will not work well with the metal textures throughout the model.

Any feedback would be much appreciated so I can adjust the material and shader settings to make the model look better.
