Description

This is a port of A_nother_Alias' Tifa Lockhart SFM1 model to SFM2. Done with A_nother_Alias's permission.

Features:

  • Original face and body morphs of A_nother_Alias's SFM1 model
  • Ported flex controllers and working corrective flexes (new feature compared to previous models)
  • Just original outfit for now, with every part of outfit removable, 2 hair options
  • Compatible with SFM2's Auto-Attach Rig (instructions below)
  • Renamed bones for body and finger so SFM2 sorts them automatically

Installation instructions:

Extract the content of the archive into your Half-Life Alyx\game\hlvr_addons\ currentaddon folder

Included files

The entire model is contained in "tifalockhartanotheraliassfm2"

Flex instructions:

The model uses "advanced" flex controllers similar to HWM from Source 1 that I had to implement by hand. If there are any issues please let me know.

I HIGHLY recommend using the sfm_default_animation_groups included on this page to sort all the flexes. If not your "unknown" flex group will be littered with Debug flexes that do nothing. The sfm_default_animation_groups files is compatible with my previous SFM2 models.

Use flexes under "BodyFlexes" -> "Clothes Adjustments" to fit her in her clothes, especially the "FitCropTop" flex.

Rigging Instructions

The Auto-Attach Rig won't work on the base pose of the model. You have to manually rotate the upper and lower leg bones a bit before applying the rig. Things seem to work fine afterwards.

Body Group Instructions

The model has named body groups for each part of her outfit. Unchecking the option in SFM2 will remove that part of her outfit. Unchecking all options will leave nude model. The "hair" option can be used to toggle with her current hair options.

Eyes

In SFM2 there don't seem to be sliders or a view target for the eyes. So you have to move them by rotating the eye bones sorted in the face group.

Everything should work as well as with my other SFM2 ports. Any help/feedback is much appreciated to improve things. This is the first model where I implemented corrective flexes so if you find anything please let me know. Also there are more outfits that I will port at a future date.

Don't use DDS files in Blender
DDS files are not supported in Blender and cause glitches. Here's some instructions on how to get rid of them.
